Hon. Steven Gevercer is a judge for the Superior Court of Sacramento County in California, appointed in 2012.

Judge Gevercer was previously employed at the Office of Attorney General for the State of California in various capacities from Deputy Attorney General to Senior Assistant Attorney General, was Senior Trial Attorney for the Sacramento County Public Defender’s Office and Deputy Public Defender for the Tulare

Judge Gevercer is an Adjunct Professor in Civil Procedure at Lincoln Law School and in Criminal
Practice at McGeorge School of Law and has been a DOJ instructor and certified NITA instructor. He was named Outstanding Professor of the Year in 2011, at Lincoln Law School.
