Biography

The Hon. Sheila B. Fell is a judge for the Superior Court of Orange County in California. She was elected on November 7, 2000.

Fell graduated from the Highland School of Nursing in 1961. She later received a J.D. from Western State University in 1979.

Fell began her legal career in 1980. She worked as a partner at Fell, Meyer and Marklin, where she specialized in bankruptcy and debtor-creditor cases. Fourteen years later she was appointed Commissioner of the Superior Court of Orange County, a position she held until 2000.

Fell has served as the Chairperson of the Family Violence Council of Orange County. She has also worked as a Panel Trustee for the Office of the United States Trustee.

Although Fell was born in Montreal, Canada, she was raised in the Bay Area of Northern California.

She is married with three children. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, hiking, and spending time with friends.
