Biography

The Hon. Roy G. Delgado is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench in 2008 by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. He filled the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Haley J. Fromholz (Ret.).

Judge Delgado received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.

Delgado clerked for the Orange County Public Defender's Office from 1988 to 1989. Prior to his appointment to the Superior Court, Delgado had been a deputy district attorney for the Los Angeles District Attorney for 19 years starting in 1989.
