The Hon. Ronald F. Frank is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench in 2015 by former governor Jerry Brown.

Judge Frank graduated summa cum laude with his B.A. in psychology from Bucknell University, Lewisburg Pennsylvania in 1979.

He attended the University of Virginia School of Law where he earned his J.D. in 1982.

During his lengthy legal career, Frank practiced as an associate for several law firms including Geary, Stahl, and Spencer in 1983, Cadwalader, Wickersham, and Taft in 1989, and Adams, Duque, and Hazeltine from 1983 to 1995.

In 1995 Frank was named a partner for the Los Angeles law firm of Bannan, Frank, and Terzian, LLP. He practiced with the firm in that capacity until 2008.

A versatile civil litigator, Frank's areas of practice have included commercial and contractual disputes, workplace discrimination, wrongful death, and class action lawsuits, as well as cases involving the medical industry.

He joined the law firm Burke, Williamson, and Sorensen, LLP in 2008 as a partner and remained in that capacity until his appointment to the Superior Court in 2015.

Judge Frank wrote an article that appeared in the Los Angeles Lawyer.
