Biography

The Hon. Roger L. Lund is a judge for the Ventura County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench in 2009 by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. He filled the vacancy created in September 2006 by bill SB 56. The legislation authorized the appointment of 50 superior court judges apportioned over the course of a three-year period.

He is a registered Republican.

Judge Lund received his B.A. from Brigham Young University. He went on to earn his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law.

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Lund had served as a court commissioner for the Ventura County Superior Court since 2008. He also served as a principal and officer for the American Law Center for four years beginning in 2004, and an associate and principal at the Law Offices of Gose, Lechman, and Lund starting in 1995.
