The Hon. Ramona G. See is a judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California. Judge See has been a judge for over 20 years and has a general civil assignment.
Prior to appointment, her practice area concentrated in the area of commercial, business, and real estate litigation.
See earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Boston College.
She is the former chair of the Judicial Division National Conference of State Trial Judges and member of the Judicial Division, Trial Torts and Insurance Practice Section, Section of International Law and GP/Solo. See is Vice Chair of the Judicial Division Standing Committee on Diversity in the Judiciary from 2013 – present. She is also a member of ABA Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Educational Pipeline and a member of Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative Council in 2011-14.
See is also the member of coordinating council for Judicial Division and Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section. She chaired the ABA Judicial Clerkship Program sponsored by the Council on Ethnic and Racial Diversity in the Educational Pipeline and Judicial Division from 2008-13.
See is the former President of the Benjamin Aranda II Inn of Court and continues to be a member of the Inn. She is a member of the National Association of Women Judges, former Vice President and Board member of California Judges Association, former board member of the California Judges Association Foundation. She served two double terms on the California Administrative Office of the Court’s Civil and Small Claims Advisory Committee. She is also the former Chair of the California Judicial Education and Research (CJER) Civil Law Committee.
