Biography

The Hon. Peter C. Deddeh is a judge for the Superior Court of San Diego County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former governor Pete Wilson in 1998.

Deddeh earned a B.A. in history and political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1978. He then received a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1982.

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Deddeh served as a deputy district attorney for the Office of the District Attorney of San Diego County. During his fifteen-year tenure there, he prosecuted misdemeanor crimes as well as violent felony offenses.

Deddeh is the son of Wadie Deddeh, a member of the California State Legislature.
