Biography

The Hon. Paul D. Herbert is a judge of the Superior Court of Alameda County in California. He was appointed to this position by Governor Jerry Brown on July 12, 2013 to replace retired Judge Robert K. Kurtz. He was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires in January of 2021. Herbert received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
