Biography
In 2013, the Hon. Paul C. Lo was appointed by Democratic Governor Jerry Brown as a judge for the Merced County Superior Court in California.
Judge Lo was the first Hmong-American to be appointed a judge in the United States. He spent part of his childhood in a refugee camp in Thailand. He grew up with 9 siblings.
The judge and his wife have five children.
He is a Democrat.
