The Hon. Patrick J. Zika is a judge for the Alameda County Superior Court in California. He was originally appointed to the Alameda County Municipal Court in 1995 by former governor Pete Wilson.
Judge Zika graduated with his B.A. in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1970. He went on to earn his J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law in 1973.
Prior to his appointment to the Municipal Court, Zika had served as a partner for the law firm of Cleaveland, Murray, Payne, and Zika. He joined the firm in 1988. Before that, Zika worked as a managing attorney at the Law Offices of Melvin M. Belli.
While on the bench, Judge Zika presided over the Settlement Division.
