Biography

The Hon. Mary Dolas is a judge for the Superior Court of Fresno County, California. On November 17, 2015, she was appointed to the bench by California Governor Jerry Brown to replace the Hon. Wayne R. Ellison.

Judge Dolas received her B.A. from Sonoma State University and later her J.D. from the John F. Kennedy University College of Law in Pleasant Hill, California.

She began her legal career as an analyst and legal writer at West Group. She moved into private practice in 1996. In 1997 she began working as a deputy public defender. In 2006, prior to her appointment, she served as a commissioner at the Fresno County, California Superior Court.

Dolas is a Democrat.
