The Hon. Mark H. Pierce is a judge for the Superior Court of Santa Clara County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2005, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Joseph Biafore.
Pierce earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado. He then completed a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.
Pierce began his legal career in 1975. He started by working in a series of small law firms, some of which have included Clark & Glennon as well as Kelly, Legal & Olimpia. Then, in 1985, he became a partner at Olson & Pierce, where he specialized in personal injury and worker’s compensation cases.
His memberships have included the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association and the Consumer Attorneys of California.
Pierce was born in San Jose, California.
He is registered as a Republican.
