Biography

Hon. Marjorie Koller (Ret.) was a judge for the Sacramento County Superior Court in California. She was elected to the bench in 2008.

She received her J.D. from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento in 1987. While in law school, Koller worked for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.

Prior to being elected to the bench, Koller had served as a court commissioner for the Sacramento County Superior Court since 2007.

She also worked at the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office beginning in 1989. She had served as a supervising district attorney for the D.A.'s office for four years prior to her assuming the position of court commissioner. During her time there, Koller was assigned to the D.A.'s Sexual Assualt and Child Abuse Unit, the Career Criminal Unit, the Domestic Violence Unit, and the Major Narcotics Unit. She also spent three years assigned to the Homicide Bureau.
