Biography

The Hon. Margaret L. Oldendorf is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. She succeeded Frances Rothschild upon her appointment to the bench by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on November 21, 2005.

She is a registered Republican.

Judge Oldendorf received her undergraduate degree from California State University, Fullerton. She went on to earn her J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1984.

After graduating from law school, Oldendorf entered into private practice. After spending 12 years as a civil litigator, she joined the Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association as a senior staff attorney in 1996.
