Biography

The Hon. Leslie E. Brown is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. He succeeded the Hon. Glenette Blackwell in his appointment to the bench by former governor Gray Davis on October 3, 2001. His appointment came about due to a large number of vacancies in the county courts, causing the county to use retired judges in the interim.

Judge Brown earned his J.D. from the UC Davis School of Law in 1977.

Prior to his appointment to the Superior Court, Brown served as a managing assistant city attorney for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office.
