The Hon. Larry P. Fidler is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the Municipal Court by former governor Jerry Brown in 1983. In 1992 the former governor Pete Wilson elevated him to the Superior Court.
Judge Fidler received his bachelor's degree from California State, Los Angeles in 1969 and went on to earn his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1974.
Prior to his appointment to the Municipal Court, Fidler served as a criminal defense attorney for the law firm of Weitzman, Fidler, and Re, and was eventually named a partner for the firm. He was with the firm from 1974-1983.
Judge Fidler holds the distinction of having the Fidler Institue On Criminal Justice named after him at the Loyola Law School, in Los Angeles.
