Biography

The Hon. Kenneth P. Barnum is a judge for the Superior Court of Santa Clara County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former governor Pete Wilson in 1995.

Barnum earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles as well as an M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University. He completed his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law.

He began his legal career in 1981. He first worked as a deputy district attorney with the Office of the District Attorney of San Mateo County.

Five years later, he left the public sector, accepting a position as an associate with Clapp, Moroney, Bellagamba, Davis & Vucinich. He practiced there for three years before moving to Langley, Lamberto, Barnum & Kreger in 1989.
