Biography

Julie M. Tang was a judge for the Superior Court of San Francisco in California. She was first elected to the San Francisco County Municipal Court in 1990 and she retired in 2014.

Tang presided over Criminal, Civil, Family, Dependency, Juvenile Delinquency courts. She launched and presided over the Court’s first Domestic Violence Court.

Tang can fluently speak, read and write Cantonese and Mandarin.

She is a Democrat.
