Biography

The Hon. Judith C. Clark is a judge for the Riverside County Superior Court in California. She was appointed to the bench by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2005. She filled the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Ronald R. Heumann (Ret.).

She is a registered Republican.

Judge Clark received her bachelor's degree from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. She went on to earn her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.

Prior to her appointment to the bench, Clark spent her entire legal career at the Riverside County District Attorney's Office. During her tenure there, she served as a deputy district attorney and a supervising deputy district attorney. She helped prosecute cases involving sexual assault, child abuse, and career criminal cases. In her role as a supervisor, she was instrumental in establishing the D.A.'s Adult Sexual Assault Unit. Her other responsibilities included supervising the D.A.'s Hemet and Banning branch offices and also supervised various divisions such as the Writs and Appeals and the Asset Forfeiture.

While on the bench, Judge Clark has presided over the Juvenile Delinquency Department at the Southwest Juvenile Court.
