Biography

The Hon. Jon R. Rolefson is a judge of the Superior Court of Alameda County in California. He was appointed to the Oakland-Piedmont-Emeryville Municipal Court by former governor Pete Wilson on November 22, 1996. Through court unification, Rolefson was elevated to the superior court. Rolefson won the primary election on June 5, 2018. Rolefson received a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1970 and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1973
