Biography

The Hon. Debre Katz Weintraub is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. She was originally appointed to the Municipal Court by former governor Pete Wilson in 1995.

Judge Katz Weintraub received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to earn her J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.

Prior to her appointment to the bench, Katz Weintraub was a partner at the law firm of Loeb and Loeb. Before joining the firm, she served as a lawyer for the Internal Revenue Service from 1979 to 1982.
