Biography

The Hon. David E. Driscoll is a judge for the Superior Court of San Bernardino County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former governor Jerry Brown on July 23, 2018, filling a newly created position.

Driscoll earned an A.A.S. from Barstow Community College. He then completed a J.D. from Western State University College of Law.

He began his legal career as an associate in private practice, specializing in civil defense. He worked at Pickell and Knudson from 1981 to 1986 and then MacLachlan, Burford & Arias from 1986 to 1991. He then became a partner, first at Foster and Driscoll and then at Driscoll and Reynolds. Then, in 2004, he started his own private practice as a sole practitioner. Driscoll joined Berman, Berman, Berman, Schneider & Lowary just prior to his appointment to the bench.

Driscoll was a resident of Riverside, California at the time of his appointment. He is a motorcycle enthusiast, and he enjoys freshwater and saltwater angling.

He is registered as a Democrat.
