The Hon. Danette J. Gòmez is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. She was appointed to the bench in 2018 by former governor Jerry Brown. She filled the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Teresa Sanchez-Gordon (Ret.).
She is a registered Democrat.
Judge Gòmez received her BB.A. from the University of La Verne. She went on to earn her J.D. from the Whittier Law School in 2005.
Prior to her appointment to the Superior Court, Gòmez had worked at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office as a deputy district attorney since 2006. She also practiced briefly as an attorney at the Children's Law Center of California during that same year.
