The Hon. Craig L. Griffin is a judge of the Superior Court of Orange County in California. He was appointed by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on May 27, 2009, filling a vacancy created by the conversion of a court commissioner position.
Griffin earned a B.A. from California State University, Long Beach. He then received a J.D. from Brigham Young University.
Griffin began his legal career as an associate with Morrison and Foerster in 1990. Then, in 1994, he joined the Law Office of Edmond M. Connor and Associates, where he worked as an associate until 1996. Two years later, he moved to Connor, Blake & Griffin. In 2004, he began work as a senior appellate attorney with the Fourth District Court of Appeal, a position he held until his appointment to the Superior Court of Orange County in 2009.
He is registered to vote as a Republican.
