Biography

The Hon. Colin J. Bilash is a judge for the Superior Court of San Bernardino County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2007, filling a newly created position.

Bilash earned a B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He then completed a J.D. from Western State University College of Law.

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Bilash served as a deputy district attorney in the Office of the District Attorney of San Bernardino County from 1989 to 2007. Before that, he served as a deputy district attorney in the Office of the District Attorney of Tulare County from 1985 to 1989.

He was a resident of Villa Park, California at the time of his appointment.

Bilash is registered as a Democrat.
