Biography

The Hon. Carol L. Henson is a judge of the Superior Court of Orange County in California. She was appointed by former governor Jerry Brown on May 22, 2017, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Daniel B. McNerney.

Henson earned a B.A. from California State University, Fullerton. She then received a J.D. from the University of the Pacific in 1992.

She began her legal career in 1992 with the Office of the District Attorney of Orange County. There, she held several positions, serving as an assistant district attorney, a senior deputy district attorney, an assistant head of court, and an acting head of court.

Henson was a resident of Santa Ana, California at the time of her appointment to the bench.

She is registered to vote as a Republican.
