Biography

The Hon. Carlos O. Armour is a judge for the Superior Court of San Diego County in California. He was appointed by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on July 21, 2008, filling a vacancy created by the conversion of a court commissioner position.

Armour earned a bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College. He then received a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.

Armour began his legal career as a sole practitioner in his own private practice in 1976.

The following year, he joined the Office of the District Attorney of San Diego County, eventually becoming chief deputy district attorney by the time of his appointment to the bench.

He is registered as a Republican.
