Biography

The Hon. Carlos M. Cabrera is a judge for the Superior Court of San Bernardino County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former governor Jerry Brown on December 23, 2015, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Jules E. Fleuret.

Cabrera earned a bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University. He then completed a J.D. from Western State College of Law.

He began his legal career as an associate at Tuckerman & Thompson in 1999. Three years later, he moved to Darlington & Cabrera, where he was a partner for the next two years. Then, in 2004, he left the firm and started his own private practice, the Law Offices of Carlos M. Cabrera. He practiced there until 2015, specializing in family law and handling high net-worth divorces.

He is registered as a Republican.
