Biography

The Hon. Bert Glennon, Jr. is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. He was originally appointed to the Culver City Municipal Court in 1986 by former governor George Deukmejian. At the time of his appointment to the Municipal Court, he filled the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Frank W. Troost (deceased). Judge Glennon was subsequently elevated to the Superior Court in 1989 by then-governor Deukmejian when the Hon. William E. McGinley (deceased) retired from the bench.

Judge Glennon received his B.S. from California State University, Northridge in 1966. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of La Verne College of Law in 1970.

Prior to his appointment to the Municipal Court, Glennon had served as a city attorney for both the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office as well as the Culver City Attorney's Office.
