The Hon. Alison M. Estrada is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. She was elected to the bench on June 3, 2014.
She is a registered Republican.
Judge Estrada graduated cum laude with her B.A. in psychology from the University of California, San Diego and went on to earn her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.
Prior to her election to the Superior Court, Estrada served as a deputy district attorney for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. During her over 15 years with the D.A.'s office, she served on the Family Violence Division, the Public Integrity Division and also served as a trial deputy for their Felony Trials Unit.
A Japanese-American, Estrada's memberships have included the Japanese American Bar Association and the National Asian Pacific Islander Prosecutors Association.
In 2011 she received the Victims of Crime Community Leadership Award.
She enjoys playing golf.
