Honorable Alan G. Perkins is a judge of the Superior Court of Sacramento County, California in California. Perkins won the primary election on June 5, 2018 in the Municipal elections of Sacramento County, California (2018).
Due to lack of opposition, this election did not appear on the ballot. Incumbent Alan G. Perkins ran unopposed in the race for the Office 12 seat on the Sacramento County Superior Court.
Perkins, a long time Davis resident, has worked for more than three decades as an attorney and partner for the Sacramento law firm of Wilke, Fleury, Hoffelt, Gould & Birney LLP. Perkins served as business defense litigator with special emphasis in construction and real property, creditor's rights and complex RICO/ fraud litigatioin as well as a bankruptcy attorney for the firm.
Perkins has also served as a professor at the University of California Davis School of Law.
Perkins' appointment fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Janice Hayes.
