Hon. William M. White, Jr. is an associate justice of the Suffolk County Superior Court in Massachusetts. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Charlie Baker in 2019.
White received a B.A. from Duke University in 1981. He went on to complete a J.D. at the New England School of Law in 1984.
Shortly after graduating from law school, White joined the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, where he worked for two years as an assistant district attorney. In 1987, he then joined the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office as an assistant attorney general in the Narcotics Division.
White left public service in 1989 to enter into private practice. He first handled personal injury and criminal defense cases as an attorney at Amabile & Burkly (1989 to 1991) before becoming a named partner at Davis, Robinson & White, P.A. Then, in 2007, White opened his own solo practice, where he remained until joining the bench.
