View Judge DashboardThe Hon. William D. Palmer (Ret.) served a judge for the Superior Court of Kern County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on April 20, 2006, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Robert McDaniel. He retired in 2018.
Palmer earned a B.S. from the University of Nevada. He then completed a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.
Prior to his appointment to the bench, Palmer served as a court commissioner for the Superior Court of Kern County from 2005 to 2006. Before that, he was a partner at Robinson, Palmer and Logan as well as a judge advocate for the Judge Advocate Division of the United States Marine Corps.
