Biography

The Hon. Ursula A. Hall is a judge of the One Hundred Sixty Fifth District Court in Harris County, Texas. She is running for re-election in 2020. Hall was a 2014 candidate for the 189th District Court in Texas. She ran for the position again in 2010, but was defeated by Bill Burke.
Hall earned an undergraduate degree from Wellesley College and a J.D. from the South Texas College of Law in 1995. In the interim, she was dismissed from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law.
She served as a municipal judge for the City of Houston from 2005. Previously she worked for a large firm and founded her own firm.
Hall is a Democrat.
