Hon. Travis W. Livengood is the president judge for the Bedford County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected to the bench in 2011.
Livengood received a bachelor’s degree in social studies education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Prior to joining the bench, Livengood worked as a sole practitioner at his own private practice in Bedford County and served a stint as an assistant district attorney with the Bedford County District Attorney’s Office. During his time there, he was head of the Drug Asset Forfeiture Unit.
He has held a membership with the Bedford County Bar Association (treasurer). Livengood was also a member of the Community School Excellence Counsel and the Bedford Lions Club (president).
