The Honorable Timothy W. Salter

Biography

The Hon. Timothy W. Salter (Ret.) was a judge for the Stanislaus County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2006. He retired from the bench in 2018 and his vacancy was filled by the Hon. Sonny S. Sandhu.

Salter received his B.S. from the University of Santa Clara in 1969. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1972.

Prior to his appointment to the Superior Court, Salter had practiced as a civil litigator in Modesto, California since 1972.

During his time on the bench, Salter heard probate cases.
