The Hon. Timothy M. Bibaud is First Justice of the Westborough District Court in Massachusetts. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Deval Patrick in 2010.
Over the course of his judicial career, Bibaud has held assignments in the East Brookfield District Court, the Dudley District Court, and the Westborough District Court.
Bibaud earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross in 1981. He then completed a J.D. at New England Law in 1988.
After graduating from law school, Bibaud joined the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office. He served in the Gang Unit as well as the Organized Crime Unit, rising through the ranks to become Supervisor of the Worcester Central District Court.
His memberships have included the Board of Directors of the Central Massachusetts Health Foundation and the Board of Directors of St. Francis Healthcare.
Bibaud was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. When not presiding over legal matters, he enjoys playing golf and reading.
