Biography

The Hon. Timothy L. Fall is a judge for the Yolo County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Pete Wilson in 1995.

Judge Fall graduated with his B.A. in environmental studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1984. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 1987. Fall also spent a year studying history at Sussex University in England.

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Fall had served as a civil litigator in private practice.

During his tenure on the bench, Judge Fall has served as the Presiding Judge of the Court. He was also appointed to serve on the California Judges' Association Ethics Committee as well as the Judicial Council's Task Force on the Quality of Justice.

He also taught judicial ethics for the California Center for Judicial Education and Research.

He has been an active member of the Yolo County Bar Association and has served on the UC Davis School of Law Moot Court and as a Trial Practice Judge.

He is a native of Pacifica, California.
