The Hon. Tim P. Kam is a judge for the Solano County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2009.
He is a registered Republican.
Judge Kam received his B.A. from the University of California, Davis. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law.
Prior to his appointment to the bench, Kam was working as a deputy district attorney for the Solano County District Attorney's Office, a position he had held since 2001. Before that, Kam had been a deputy at the Shasta County District Attorney's Office from 1996 to 2001.
While on the bench, Judge Kam has presided over the Criminal Division at the Solano Justice Center. In 2013, Judge Kam was assigned to also preside over the Adult Drug Court after a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration enabled the Court to expand its drug court program.
