The Hon. Thomas Matthew Reardon is a judge for the Alameda County Superior Court in California. He was originally appointed to the Municipal Court on July 26, 1998, by former governor Pete Wilson. Five days later, the Alameda County judges voted to unify the courts and Judge Reardon was elevated to the Superior Court as a result.

Judge Reardon received his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law in 1988.

After law school, Reardon became a deputy district attorney for the Alameda County District Attorney's Office, where he would serve until 1994.

He was working as a research attorney for the Hon. Carol Corrigan with the California Court of Appeal for the First District at the time of his appointment to the Municipal Court.

On a lark, in 2005, Judge Reardon, who had no prior stage experience, agreed to fill in as a chorus member for a local musical production, he has been performing in area musicals ever since.
