The Honorable Robert A. Glusman

Biography

The Hon. Robert A. Glusman is a judge for the Superior Court of Butte County in California. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Gray Davis in 2002.

Glusman earned a B.A. in history from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1972. He then completed a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1976.

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Glusman worked as a sole practitioner in his own private practice for twenty-five years. During this time, he specialized in family law matters, receiving his certification as a Family Law Specialist.

Glusman has served as president of the California Judges Association.

He has taught ethics at Cal Northern School of Law.

Glusman was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. However, when he was nine years old, he moved with his family to Los Angeles, California. He would graduate from Grant High School in San Fernando Valley.
