The Hon. Rasheed S. Alexander is a judge for the San Bernardino County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Gavin Newsom on December 23, 2022, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Ronald M. Christianson.
Prior to his appointment, Alexander worked for the San Bernardino County Public Defender’s Office. He started as a deputy public defender, rising through the ranks to become an assistant public defender in 2021.
Alexander earned a J.D. from Western State College of Law. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2000.
After graduating from law school, Alexander began his legal career as a deputy public defender for the Orange County Public Defender’s Office. He served in that capacity until 2006.
Alexander was a resident of Riverside County at the time of his appointment.
He is registered as a Democrat.
