The Hon. Neil E. Ross is a judge for the Criminal Court of the City of New York in New York County. He was first appointed to the bench by former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani in 1999. Then, in 2008, he was re-appointed by former Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
Ross earned a B.A. from Dickinson College. He then completed a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law.
Prior to his appointment to the bench, Ross served in the Office of the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York. Before that, he was an assistant district attorney in the Office of the District Attorney of Kings County.
