Hon. Michael Blair is a judge for the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Doug Ducey in 2016.
During his judicial tenure, Blair has held assignments in the Family and Criminal Courts.
Before joining the bench, he was a partner at Baird, Williams & Greer, LLP, where he handled commercial, real estate, and construction litigation. Blair joined the firm in 2000. He also served as a judge pro tempore for the Maricopa County Superior Court.
Blair received a B.A. from Brigham Young University in 1995. He went on to complete a J.D. at Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1998. While a law student, Blair was a member of the Brigham Young University Law Review.
He was admitted to practice in Arizona (1998), the United States District Court for the District of Arizona (2000), and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (2005).
Blair has served on the Arizona Commission on Judicial Performance Review.
