The Hon. Marcy M. McMann is a judge for the Morris/Sussex County Superior Court (Vicinage 10) in New Jersey. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Phil Murphy on June 23, 2021.
Prior to her appointment, McMann was an attorney in private practice, working as an associate at Stephen S. Weinstein, P.C. (2005 to 2018) and of counsel at the Law Office of Elizabeth Smith (2018 to 2021). Before that, she was an assistant prosecutor for the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office (1995 to 2005).
McMann earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bucknell University in 1990. She then completed a J.D. at Penn State Dickinson Law in 1993. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey (1993), Pennsylvania (1993), the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (2006), the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit (2006), and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (2006).
Her memberships have included the Morris County Bar Association (trustee). She was Chair of the Morris County Domestic Violence Group (2009 to 2020), playing an instrumental role in the development of the Morris County Family Justice Center.
