The Hon. Marc B. Gilner (Ret.) was a judge for the 12th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida in Manatee County. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Jeb Bush in 1999. Gilner retired in 2015.
The 12th Judicial Circuit includes DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota Counties.
Prior to his appointment to the bench, he presided as a judge for the Manatee County Court.
Gilner received a B.A. from the University of Florida in 1976. He then completed a J.D. at Stetson University College of Law in 1978.
Following his retirement, Gilner practiced as of counsel in The Law Office of Colleen M. Glenn, P.A. in Bradenton, Florida.
