The Hon. Laura J. Tocci is a judge for the Beaver County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. She was elected to the bench on November 5, 2019.
Tocci earned a bachelor’s degree in business (marketing) from Pennsylvania State University. She then completed a J.D. at St. Mary's University School of Law.
After graduating from law school, Tocci returned to Pennsylvania, splitting her time as an assistant district attorney for the Beaver County District Attorney’s Office as well as an associate at Duplaga, Tocci, Palmieri, McMillen & Urick. Then, in 1988, Tocci became a partner at McMillen, Urick, Tocci, and Jones, representing clients in family law and civil litigation matters.
Her memberships have included the Beaver County Bar Association (president) and the Advisory Board of the Pennsylvania State University (Beaver Campus).
She is a recipient of the Judge Joseph J. Walko Service Award (2006) and the Judge James E. Ross Service Award (2013) from the Beaver County Bar Association.
Tocci was born and raised in Hopewell Township, Pennsylvania. She attended Hopewell High School. A resident of Center Township at the time of her election, Tocci is the daughter of former Beaver County District Attorney Edward Tocci.
She is registered as a Democrat.
