The Hon. Larry Weiman serves as a judge of the Eightieth District Court in Harris County, Texas. Weiman joined the bench in 2009. He ran for re-election but lost in the Democratic primary on March 3, 2020. He will leave the court on December 31, 2020.
As a trial attorney, Weiman represented parties in all types of civil litigation in Texas trial courts, Texas Courts of Appeals, and the Texas Supreme Court. He started practicing in 1991, specializing in personal injury, commercial litigation, insurance law, medical/professional malpractice, employment law, breach of contract, DTPA, toxic torts, construction, real estate litigation, products liability, premises liability, and dram shop matters.
Weiman received his undergraduate degree from Boston University and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
He is from Houston, Texas.
Weiman is a Democrat.
