The Hon. Khymberli S.Y. Apaloo is a judge for the Superior Court of San Bernardino County in California. She was appointed to the bench by former governor Jerry Brown on December 5, 2013, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. John N. Martin.
Apaloo earned a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. She then completed a J.D. from New York University School of Law.
She began her legal career as an associate at Covington and Crowe LLP in 1998. Five years later, she joined Haslam and Perri LLP, where she was a partner from 2003 to 2012. She then left the firm, as she was appointed to serve as a court commissioner for the Superior Court of San Bernardino County.
