The Hon. Kerry L. White is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench in 2017 by former governor Jerry Brown. He filled the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Joanne B. O'Donnell (Ret.).
He is a registered Democrat.
Judge White received his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
White began his legal career as a deputy district attorney for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office in 1984. He was ultimately made head deputy district attorney for the D.A.'s office in 2003. He also served a brief stint as a chief prosecutor for the Pasadena City Prosecutor's Office in 2001. White remained with the Los Angeles County D.A.'s Office until his appointment to the Superior Court in 2017.
